The Commissioning Permit to Work Co-Ordinator is responsible for the delivery of all aspects of Permit to work Co-Ordination relating to and during the Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) of the Compression project/s, including Brownfield tie-in's, isolation design, TRA's, HAZIDS and permit to work SIMOPS.
What are you going to do
Act as a company focal point liaising with the PTW team to provide the PTW Visual Management Dashboard.
Conduct audits to verify work is being controlled correctly in line with project values and standards.
Drive sequencing and workflow plans which align with project schedule requirements for Onshore to Offshore phases prior to sail away and Offshore to phase brown field tie in.
Complete preparation for hand over Identify isolations and prepare transfer for subsystem and systems handover to HUC/Operations permit to work system.
Drive an incident free environment by establishing and maintaining a strong incident free culture and driving PTW adherence to site safety requirements.
Promote core values by being a safety role model, showing trust, respect, and commitment, fostering collaboration across the organization.
Works in a dynamic team environment that has high expectations for flawless project execution in Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule performance which requires the incumbent to demonstrate accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills.
Company focal point for all permits issued on the site during the Hook-Up and Commissioning phases, assisting the Head of commissioning with PTW planning and work execution deadlines in line with the project schedule.
Ensures a strong link is maintained between PTW preparation, HSE requirements and work execution.
Confirms compliance with the PTW originator and submission requirements as per the PTW procedures.
Provides quality checks of the permits, supporting documents and certificates prior to issue ensuring all the necessary signatures have been obtained and the documentation complies with the PTW system processes and SHE requirements.
Audits permit, isolations and associated certificates such as, (CSE) confined space entry and Gas test compliance are in line with the PTW processes and project needs.
Supports and attends the PTW coordination and SIMOPS daily meetings and maintains alignment with projects schedules and commissioning delivery.
Ensures timely submission and closure of PTW's as per PTW procedure and commissioning schedule.
Ensures PTW coordination within the project commissioning/completions team to alleviate potential clashes and SIMOPS with other work parties and disciplines.
Provide daily and weekly reporting, liaising with Contractors/Subcontractors for all PTW subjects.
Ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress, follow up and reporting of failure modes observed in permit to work, precipitate to Lessons Learned for the Company.
Essential skills and knowledge
High School Diploma.
Minimum eight (8) years relevant experience in a similar permit coordinator role with five (5) years' experience with field equipment in a diversified oil and gas processing, petrochemical plant, construction yard or shipyard environment.
Broad and extensive knowledge of Oil and gas onshore/offshore projects (greenfield and brownfield).
In depth knowledge of Permit to Work procedures, processes and permit execution, Isolation design, CSE and Gas test protocols, general completions and commissioning documentation in relation to permit to work implementation and control of work design, execution and operation.
Good knowledge and experience in commissioning PTW delivery coordination processes and associated project phases, familiar with completions walkdowns and PSSR procedures.
Proven experience as a PTW coordinator role for large contracts, with good general commissioning/technical skills.
Knowledge of general site safety, hydrotesting, pipe cleaning, flange management, N2he leak testing, ICSS commissioning, loop checking, LV/MV/HV switchgears, power management systems, protection relays, GTC, EDG and GTG's, would be advantageous.
Experience and understanding of project completions, project systemization, commissioning procedures and site method statements.
