What are you going to do

Responsible for all multi-discipline site construction activities for his department assigned projects.
Lead a team of Construction Supervisors providing constructability related direction, guidance and advice.
Control and supervise site construction/installation of project works, including workshop prefabrication works, of all disciplines in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and Execution Plan.
Participate and give input on constructability during feasibility and design stage when requested.
Assist in mobilization and demobilization of Contractor personnel, equipment and logistics involving Contractors, Sub-contractors and Vendors.
Randomly inspect construction works and materials in accordance with Work Plans and Inspection Test Plans.
Co-ordinate, liaise and follow up with relevant parties to resolve complex site issues and raise technical queries for required modifications, as necessary.
Proactive with safety while performing site construction activities in live plant and ensure site compliance with statutory safety and environmental regulations.
Proactive with simultaneous operation & construction works in live plants by understanding the End User's constraints/concerns and hence minimizing effects on the project schedule and cost.
Co-ordinate pre-commissioning activities, assist during commissioning of Department assigned projects and ensure that all Punch List items are cleared in a timely manner

Essential skills and knowledge

B.Sc. in an Engineering Discipline or Diploma with extensive construction management
Fifteen (15) years minimum construction/installation related experience of which ten (10) years in oil & gas industry.
Good knowledge of construction related standards and QHSE awareness.
Good ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans,
lifting/erection plans, construction schedules and drawings.
Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems related to construction activities and suggest solutions.
Good communication and report writing skills.
