Act in a designated Emergency Response role during incidents with responsibility for supporting the coordination, emergency mustering, search and rescue and shelter in place or evacuation of the facility under direction from the Incident Commander.
Administratively support the implementation of the company permit to work system. Support the Brownfield Execution at Offshore, by providing oversight to execution teams ensuring appropriate PTW preparation.
Act as single point of contact offshore for all PTW related execution activities and be the primary interface between Operations and the Brownfield execution Party for PTW related issues. Support all type of PTW audits and implement the recommendations within the stipulated period.
Support the securement of operational equipment to prepare OESS teams for facility shutdown and zero energy activity readiness. Assist in the execution of facility shutdown, isolation and zero energy demonstration activities (closing/opening valves, draining and depressurizing, N2 purge, LOTO isolation, leak/pressure testing, etc) of equipment to allow for safe handover of facility to contractor (CTR) to execute Brownfield work.
Lead daily permit to work coordination meeting, update and circulate list of next day's/week's planned work activities with relative order and priority. Keep up-to-date daily register of PTW's, supplementary certificates, audits, and performance statistics.
Communicate with Brownfield Operations Supervisor on next day's permits for authorization
ensuring no conflicts with any relevant (new) standing Instructions or operational situations.
Assist in the review of WHP and/or riser platform BF execution procedures and practices and makes recommendations for amendments and improvements. Oversee adherence to all EHS&Q policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard company personnel and assets.
Support the coordination of activities on-board (including SIMOPS activities) ensuring efficient and timely completion of work and all activities are completed safely as per the planned schedule.
Support execution of leak test and deisolation as well as the safe restart of facilities post completion of Brownfield work as applicable.
Essential skills and knowledge
Higher National Diploma (HND) in an Engineering discipline
8 years diversified Oil and Gas or Chemical Industry experience within Engineering, Operations or Maintenance in which 5 years at a supervisory level.
3 years DCS process panel operator experience.
Analytical skills, able to undertake troubleshooting of an advanced nature in the DCS and Process arena, including cause and effect.
Good computer skills, SAP, and Microsoft applications.
