We are seeking a skilled Automation Tech III to join our team in providing technical support for CygNet systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our CygNet infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in CygNet systems to provide technical support and guidance.
- Create and modify devices, points, and facilities in accordance with standards.
- Manage alarms and alerts, as well as attributes and templates within the CygNet environment.
- Maintain HMI (Human-Machine Interface) displays to facilitate effective monitoring and control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to missing or incorrect data and facilities.
- Assist in the assignment and management of alarms and notifications to ensure timely response.
- Collaborate closely with field operations to address operational needs and challenges.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work activities, including current and completed tasks.
- Develop and maintain CygNet reports using VBScripts and/or CygNet Report Module.
What you need to bring:
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in providing technical support for CygNet systems.
- Proficiency in creating and modifying devices, points, and facilities within the CygNet environment.
- Strong understanding of alarms, alerts, attributes, and templates management in CygNet.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data integrity and facility functionality.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with field operations and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining CygNet reports using VBScripts and/or CygNet Report Module.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
