This is far more than a traditional estimating role.
It's an opportunity to become the trusted technical authority supporting major bids, developing innovative integrated security solutions and influencing how projects are won across Defence, Government, healthcare, commercial and critical infrastructure sectors.
Working alongside experienced Sales, Engineering and Project Delivery teams, you'll help shape technically robust, commercially competitive solutions across projects.
If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, influencing major project outcomes and mentoring others, this is an outstanding opportunity to step into a genuine technical leadership role.
This senior position combines technical leadership, estimating and solution development to support the successful delivery of integrated electronic security projects across Australia.
Reporting into the leadership team, you'll become the technical partner to the National Sales function, providing expertise throughout the tender process while ensuring every solution is technically sound, commercially competitive and aligned with client requirements.
Approximately half of your time will focus on estimating, with the balance supporting solution development, tender strategy, technical reviews, RFIs and mentoring the wider team. With all opportunities generated through existing client relationships, you'll be able to focus entirely on delivering exceptional technical outcomes rather than business development.
Key Responsibilities
You're recognised as the person others turn to for technical advice.
You combine strong estimating capability with the ability to develop practical, commercially competitive security solutions and communicate them with confidence. Comfortable working across sales, engineering and project delivery, you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, influencing major bids and helping customers find the right solution.
You'll have proven experience delivering integrated electronic security solutions, preparing tenders and estimates, interpreting technical specifications and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Exposure to Defence, Government, healthcare or other critical infrastructure environments will be highly regarded.
