Introduction

Design and implement data models for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of data.
Develop and maintain Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to automate data ingestion and preparation.
Design and build data warehouses for centralized data storage and analysis.

What are you going to do

Utilize Python, Jupyter Notebook, and Power BI to analyze data, identify trends, and develop predictive models.
Create visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards that communicate insights effectively to business users.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
Stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends and technologies.
Design and develop user-friendly and visually appealing dashboards in Power BI:
- Utilize best practices for dashboard design, including clear hierarchy, consistent formatting, and intuitive navigation.
- Select appropriate and impactful visualizations based on data types and user needs.
- Incorporate interactivity features like slicers, filters, and drill-throughs for user exploration.
- Ensure dashboards are optimized for various devices (desktop, mobile).
Partner with business stakeholders to understand their dashboard requirements:
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions and actively listen to user feedback.
- Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights aligned with business objectives.
- Prototype and iterate on dashboards to deliver user-centric solutions.

Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Certification in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
Proven experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehouse development.
Proven experience in building user-friendly and impactful dashboards in Power BI.
Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
Ability to effectively translate data into visually compelling and easily digestible formats.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into plain language.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages for data cleaning/wrangling, scripting, and automation.
Strong expertise in Power BI for data visualization, Data cleaning (Power Query) report development, and dashboard design.
Solid understanding of data modelling concepts (dimensional modelling, star schema, snowflake schema) and database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
