As a Pump Technician, you'll play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of pumps used in industrial and commercial applications. What are you going to do
Pump Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on different types of pumps, including centrifugal, submersible, and positive displacement pumps.
Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Identify pump issues, malfunctions, and operational inefficiencies, and implement effective solutions to restore optimal functionality.
Quality Control: Ensure that all repaired and maintained pumps meet or exceed industry standards and comply with safety regulations.
Parts and Inventory Management: Assist in managing spare parts inventory and ensure that all required tools and equipment are available for efficient pump servicing.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of pump service activities, including inspection reports, work orders, and any other relevant documentation.
Customer Interaction: Interact with clients to understand their pump-related concerns, provide technical advice, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of pump maintenance and repair procedures.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
Background working on pumps, mechanical seals and other rotating equipment
Strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
Fault finding and trouble shooting skills
Hold a trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter and Turner or Fitter and Machinist
Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in a service-related industry

Salary range from $101,000 - $107,000 + Superannuation
