Introduction

  • Project Manager role as responsible for managing the full Headquarters Relocation Project from planning to handover. The role covers project execution, stakeholder coordination, governance, reporting, budget and cost control, procurement, risk and issue management, compliance, documentation, and final project close-out, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality, safety, and operational standards.

What are you going to do

  • The Project Manager is responsible for leading the full Headquarters Relocation project lifecycle, including planning, execution, documentation, governance, stakeholder coordination, reporting, risk management, compliance, and close-out.
  • The role ensures that timelines, budgets, quality, safety, operational needs, and business continuity requirements are met while coordinating with internal teams, external stakeholders, contractors, vendors, landlords, and senior management.
  • Key project risks include schedule delays, budget overruns, scope changes, authority approval delays, contractor or vendor performance issues, design or technical specification gaps, procurement and material lead-time constraints, HSE and compliance risks, business continuity disruption during relocation, stakeholder misalignment, documentation/version control issues, and delayed handover or operational readiness.
  • The role also includes maintaining project controls, managing mitigation plans and corrective actions, overseeing documentation and reporting, escalating critical issues, and capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or an equivalent qualification are mandatory
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant project management experience with demonstrated leadership in complex, large scale projects
  • Proven experience in delivering major capital projects, including office buildings, corporate headquarters, commercial developments in Qatar.
  • Extensive experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments, preferably on projects exceeding 25,000 sqm in scale and high operational impact.
  • Strong expertise across the full project lifecycle, including design management, construction management, procurement, contract administration, commercial management, and senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of project governance, controls, and commercial management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments with high attention to detail.
