  • Qatar Company is one of the companies located in the Industrial City along-with its neighbors producing fertilizers, steel, petroleum products and natural gas liquids.
  • Qatar Company was established in 1974 as a joint multinational venture to utilize the associated and non-associated Ethane feed from petroleum/natural Gas production in line with the industrialization plan of the State of Qatar.
  • Qatar Company commenced commercial production in 1981 and soon became well established in the global market for its commitment to quality and reliability.
  • Qatar Company IT Dept. provides services to approx.1500 staff located in Mesaieed plant & Doha head office.
  • RFP Purpose
  • Qatar Company is looking to establish a contract for IT Support services for the below roles for the period of five years.

About this role

  • Manage and Day to day administration of Exchange Online and Exchange Server 2019.
  • Manage complete O365 and Exchange Server Threat Protection, Security and Compliance.
  • Manage MDM/MAM and other Microsoft Intune endpoint configurations.
  • Manage Hybrid Setup between Exchange Server 2019 and Office 365 and ActiveSync clients.
  • Manage Email Gateway products like Mimecast, TrendMicro, EOP.
  • Manage MS Teams with complete Security and Compliance.
  • Manage Meeting Room devices (Evoko, Signage etc).
  • Manage Servers health by checking Performance, monitor logs, Events viewer reporting and taking corrective measures.
  • Ensuring highest availability of mail servers (DAG), Failover to DR, monitoring exchange message routing, database backup/restore, Co-coordinating with end user & troubleshooting all issues.
  • Administration of automated email signature & implemented centralized signature (CrossWare).
  • Monitor and manage O365 and Exchange policies for: anti-phishing/spam, mail flow rules, quarantined mail policies, data loss prevention (DLP) policies, Office
  • Message Encryption, impersonation policies, approve/deny policies working inside of Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal and Exchange Online.
  • Perform service requests related to messaging and collaboration systems – Exchange, O365(Exchange, Security, Compliance and Cloud App Security), Active Directory, Azure, Intune, and Teams.

Requirements

  • Each member of staff shall have a minimum of five years of experience working in an IT Service Desk environment along with technical support based on ITIL best practices guidelines in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Familiar working experience in ITSM platform ServiceNow.
  • CONTRACTOR shall provide staff with relevant experience with the skills as listed as per their job description.
