Introduction

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintainer to join a major iron ore operation at Gudai Darri. This role is ideal for electricians with experience in mine water management, dewatering systems, bore pumps, and electrical control circuits. You will work within a small maintenance team, performing fault finding, preventative maintenance, and ensuring reliable operation of critical site infrastructure.

What are you going to do

  • Fly in and fly out Thursday
  • Work within a small, collaborative maintenance team
  • Perform electrical maintenance across mine water management infrastructure, including dewatering systems and bore networks
  • Fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems and control circuits
  • Work independently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational requirements

Essential skills and knowledge 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • WA A Grade Electrical Licence
  • C Class Manual Driver's Licence
  • First Aide
  • CPR / LVR
  • Proven experience in mine water management systems
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with:
    • Dewatering systems
    • Bore pumps and associated infrastructure
    • Electrical control circuits
    • Mining electrical maintenance environments
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively within a small team environment
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance
