Essential skills and knowledge
- Bachelor of Science, Business or Engineering
- 8 years' experience in document control, including at least 4 years in the oil and gas industry within technical project environments and proven 1year supervisory experience or acting role, with the ability to lead and manage document control teams effectively.
- Demonstrated knowledge of document management systems and archiving practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities, schedules, and workload efficiently
- Strong decision-making and judgment, knowing when to escalate issues
- Proven ability to manage complex tasks and deliver results within deadlines and cost constraints
- Shows initiative and accountability, contributing to continuous improvement of processes
- Effective team collaboration with an understanding of cross functional relationships
- Builds credibility and maintains professional relationships with stakeholders
- Good supervisory and coordination skills, supporting team efficiency
- Capable of working in high-pressure, dynamic project environments with a focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule
