Introduction

  • This role holder is responsible for establishing and maintaining contract records.
  • Review of contracts and agreements established guidelines and contracting procedures.
  • And ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • The role holder is also responsible for providing other support services pertaining to contracts and agreements, as needed.

What are you going to do

  • Review and ensure contracts, agreements and other related documents submitted to the Contracts and Agreements Section are comprehensive, concise and are in compliance with the contracting procedures and guidelines adopted by COMPANY.
  • Assist the Head of Contracts and Agreement Section in reviewing and updating the status of on-going tenders and contracts.
  • Monitor compliance of contract requirements and internal procedures, ensuring all conditions are satisfied.
  • Provide analysis of historical data of contracts and provide recommendations and corrective actions to the Head of Contracts & Agreements Section.
  • Maintain and update the contracts information system and retain original records of contract-related documents.
  • Prepare status/progress reports for the section periodically, for reporting the status of the Section’s activities to the management.
  • Establish and updates records of all correspondence related to contract activities.
  • Participate in the training and mentoring of less experienced Qatari employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • More than Six (6) years’ experience in large construction projects, which includes minimum 4 years of experience in construction contracts administration.
  • Proficient in the English (must) and Arabic (preferred) language.
  • Proficient in the use of Computers and computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentations.
  • Interpersonal communications skills.
