Leads the monitoring and oversight of the Pipelines Sub-Sea Structures Contractor Team field planning, coordination, and execution activities within designated area of responsibility.
Appraises the performance of the Pipelines Sub-Sea Structures Contractor Team in safety, quality and schedule.
Prepares and provides routine verbal and written progress reports to the HOC, FAB yard-2 and updates S-curve performance of the contractor with analysis to achieve progress.
Ensures that the offshore Pipelines Sub-Sea Structures contractor Team develops, implements, and sustains its Safety and Quality program at site.
Review the offshore Pipelines Sub-Sea Structures contractor ‘s Construction deliverables like Method statements, Construction Procedures, Concrete quality checks as per company specifications.
What are you going to do
Provides safety leadership by example to theOffshore Project Team and the offshore Contractor and its sub-contractors and site vendors.
Responsible for Ensuring the offshore contractor team Implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for HSES project deliverables.
As Offshore Project Team Construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the offshore Contractor team and its subcontractor(s) in their area of responsibility.
Reports on the construction activities, Progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions to head of Construction Fabrication yard-2 and participate & contribute to weekly construction discipline review meetings.
Responsible for implementation of execution activities and ensures development, review, and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution. This includes authorization of COMPANY permits wherever necessary.
Reviews and approves theoffshore Contractor team’s work plans, pre-task planning and method statements and participate in Constructability reviews, Hasid workshops during construction to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in their area of responsibility.
Help in identifying and organizing all required construction support (Third Party support, Joint-Venture partner technical support, etc.) in liaison with the Offshore Pipelines Sub-Sea Structures.
Review construction risks and assist in providing mitigation measures. Report Risks to the Offshore Head of Construction QFAB Fab Yard, review the EPCI schedule level 3 prepared by the Contractor.
Monitors site material handling, preservation, and warehousing procedures with respect to their area to facilitate construction progress.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
Recognized Engineering or Construction degree or significant experience with City & Guilds or similar diploma.
Minimum 10yrs. experience in fabrication, construction within the offshore oil and gas industry.
Experience with Offshore concrete sub-sea structures and similar construction work at supervisory level and exhaustive experience for the preparation, fabrication, and construction of offshore sub-sea structures with EPCI contractors.
Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards
Able to supervise a multi-cultural team committed to meeting project objectives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
