Introduction

Assists the senior commissioning engineer in developing Commissioning Strategy and Commissioning Execution Plan.
Responsible for coordinating and executing M&P and/or control system commissioning activities, Systems Completion activities required at site as per the commissioning plan.
Ensures alignment with Project Engineering, Construction, Quality, Procurement and Start Up/Operations
Assists in the seamless transition of the facilities from Project to Operations
Coordinates and interfaces with PE's, CMT and Operations to ensure Construction and operations are fully conversant with Commissioning Strategy, Commissioning Plan and the Systems Completion.

What are you going to do

Monitors static and dynamic commissioning activities, assists in resolution of systems completion related M&P issues to ensure satisfactory quality is attained
Coordinates Systems Completion interfaces between various parties to facilitate successful commissioning and hand-over
Supervise commissioning activities, participate in line walks and witness inspections to ensure that work is conducted in a safe and proper manner in accordance with the commissioning plan
Coordinates the contribution of project construction team during commissioning execution.
Under general supervision of Sr. Commissioning engineer, take the decisions on the project issues within the framework of respective contract documents and COMPANY procedures/guidelines, in close coordination and concurrence with the Project Team.
Accountable for efficiently coordinating all M&P and control system Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning activities in accordance with COMPANY policies and procedures.
Frequent long working hours may be required which include outdoor field work.
Exposed to multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment requiring special coordination and expediting skills. Sound inter-personal relationships and effective communication within COMPANY and Contractor Teams.

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering Discipline or a Diploma with extensive experience in commissioning of oil and gas projects.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in M&P and/or control system design, construction, commissioning and start-up of oil & gas processing plants and preferably offshore with EPIC contracting companies.
Minimum eight (8) years' experience in M&P and/or control system commissioning engineering and execution.
Multi-discipline engineering exposure with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills is considered essential for the position.
Good supervisory and proactive management skills.
Good communication skills,
Strong commissioning and start-up experience of offshore Topsides, Wellhead Platforms, offshore manifolds preferably with offshore EPIC contracting companies.
Experience in offshore projects construction, installation activities is strongly preferred.
Strong technical experience in commissioning of F&G Systems, DCS, ICS, Power Management Systems, Instrument air, Wellhead Control Systems etc. in offshore.
