Introduction

  • Ability to identify the anomaly and rectify the same through co-ordination with electrical and / or contractor.

What are you going to do

  • Install and maintain corrosion-prevention systems, such as cathodic protection and protective coatings for pipelines, pump station, storage tanks, vessels, and treatment plant facilities.
  • Able to demonstrate a through working knowledge of international codes and standards related to inspecting Cathodic Protection System and its components, such as anode installation, cable installation, and positive and negative cable hookups to rectifier.
  • Shall be able to interpret and assess cathodic protection design packages to ensure compliance with the contractual requirements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Diploma in Electrical or Metallurgy Engineering.
  • CP Inspectors shall have at least five (5) years of current work experience.
  • NACE CP Level II qualified.
  • Have knowledge and experience of Galvanic & impressed current system.
  • Hands on experience in CP monitoring in field.
  • Shall have ability to analyze the CP results.
  • Knowledge of CP codes and standards.
  • Hands on experience on CIPS and DCVG.
