What are you going to do 

As a Sales Estimator, you'll play a key role in the pre-construction phase, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate, competitive, and high-quality pricing.

  • Preparing detailed cost estimates for custom residential projects
  • Reviewing plans, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Working closely with clients, sales consultants, and drafting teams
  • Managing pricing, variations, and cost planning
  • Using Buildertrend software to manage and track estimates
  • Ensuring all estimates align with project scope, budgets, and timelines

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Must be over 5 years' experience in residential estimating, with a strong focus on sales estimating
  • Proven experience working on custom / high-end homes
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costing
  • Experience with Buildertrend software is essential
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
