What are you going to do 

As a Production Estimator, you will play a critical role in the construction phase, ensuring accurate costing and seamless handover from pre-construction to build.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate production estimates for residential volume housing and multi-residential projects
  • Review contract documentation, drawings, and specifications for construction readiness
  • Liaise with construction, procurement, drafting, and suppliers to finalise build costs
  • Price variations, upgrades, and post-contract changes accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure estimates align with company margins, budgets, and cost control standards
  • Maintain high attention to detail while managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing estimating team

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Over 5 years' experience as a Production Estimator within residential construction
  • Proven experience working with a volume builder (essential)
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and supplier pricing
  • Highly organised with excellent accuracy and time management skills
  • Confident communicator who works well across teams
  • Comfortable working within established systems and structured processes
