Introduction
We are recruiting a Structural Designer to join one of our leading multinational clients and their expanding team. This position is based in Bangalore and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced proposal management professionals in the Conventional Energy sector.
What are you going to do
- Creating and maintaining 3D models: Using BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to generate detailed 3D models of buildings, structures, and their components.
- Collaborating with engineers and architects: Working closely with other professionals to understand design requirements, incorporate feedback, and ensure model accuracy.
- Ensuring model quality: Verifying model accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
- Performing model reviews and coordination: Identifying potential issues or conflicts in the design and coordinating with other disciplines to resolve them.
- Generating design drawings and documentation: Producing structural design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings based on the 3D model.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
- Total Years of Experience: 5-15 years
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles: Knowledge of building codes, design standards, and structural analysis.
- Proficiency in BIM software: Familiarity with industry-standard software like AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.
- Excellent visualization and spatial reasoning skills: Ability to create and interpret 3D models accurately.
- Attention to detail and accuracy: Ability to identify and correct errors in the 3D model.
