We are recruiting a Project Engineering (Elec & Int, Auto)-AM/DM to join one of our leading multinational clients and their expanding team. This position is based in Ahmedabad and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced proposal management professionals in the Renewable sector.

What are you going to do

Position: Project Engineering (Elec & Int, Auto)-AM/DM

Contract: On Permanent Role.

The PE – Electrical & Instrumentation/Automation will lead the planning, execution, and commissioning of the plant’s electrical distribution, automation, and instrumentation systems. This role ensures power availability, system safety, and efficient integration of automated production equipment.

Supervise installation of HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS, panels, and cabling infrastructure.
Oversee integration of PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, sensors, and instrumentation for automated manufacturing processes.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety norms and standards (e.g., IE Rules, CEA regulations).
Work with DISCOMs and government agencies for approvals, load sanctions, and metering.
Manage electrical load calculations, redundancy planning, and energy audits.
Support troubleshooting, system optimization, and handover to plant maintenance team.
Maintain electrical documentation, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and automation architecture.

Essential skills and knowledge

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
5–10 years of experience in electrical and automation projects for manufacturing or process industries
Hands-on experience with industrial automation systems and electrical distribution
Renewable Energy / Solar Manufacturing
Electronics / Automotive / Semiconductor
