We are recruiting a Head of Security - Manufacturing Plant to join one of our leading multinational clients and their expanding team. This position is based in Ahmedabad and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced proposal management professionals in the Renewable Energy sector.

What are you going to do

Position: Head of Security - Manufacturing Plant.

Contract: On Permanent Role.

The Head of Security is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all security operations at the manufacturing plant to ensure the safety of personnel, property, and information. This role involves overseeing a team of security personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and mitigating all forms of security risks including theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in any discipline; preference for military or law enforcement background.
15+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing plant security; 5+ years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of physical security systems, access control, and surveillance.
Familiarity with industrial safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, crisis management, and leadership skills.
Physical security management
Crisis and risk management
Security audits & investigations
Surveillance system operations (CCTV, biometrics, etc.)
Emergency response planning
Leadership & team management
Knowledge of labour laws and factory act (desirable)
