Head-Maintenance

Position: Head - Maintenance.

Contract: On Permanent Role.

• Overall responsibility for Maintenance activities across the Plant.
• Contribute towards creating and implementing the best manufacturing practice, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance
• Ensure that Plant processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of costs, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function effectively.
• Take ownership of the Production and Maintenance policies, guidelines and any associated documents
• Initiate and develop creative and innovative manufacturing processes
• Lead, develop and implement variable cost & productivity programs across all areas of responsibility in the Plants.
• Develop and manage master production schedule and achieve the Daily/weekly/Monthly Production and Maintenance targets on a consistent basis.
• Plan and execute maintenance activity to ensure plant is kept safe and compliant
• Drive improvements in reliability for key aspects of machinery by best planned maintenance strategy
• Ensure that Environmental, Health and Safety, manufacturing and quality standards and procedures are adhered to.
• Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports
• Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions
• Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements
