We are partnering with our client in the oil and gas sector to identify an experienced Warehouse Technical Lead for their Dubai Office. This permanent role is a key technical position overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient material handling and robust compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. As a senior member of our client's team, you will shape operational integrity and support critical activities across their supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Company's Health, Safety, Environment, and Operational Integrity (HSEOI) standards.
- Technical authority for warehouse operations at Jebel Ali Operations Support Base (JAOSB), ensuring efficient material handling, storage, and inventory control.
- Manage compliance documentation, including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), Material Test Certificates (MTCs), and Certificates of Conformance (CoCs).
- Develop scopes of work and technical requirements for warehouse-related contracts.
- Provide technical support and guidance for warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with procedures, standards, and operational requirements.
- Oversee the inspection of incoming and outgoing materials to verify compliance with specifications, quality requirements, and certification standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain warehouse quality control processes covering material receipt, storage, preservation, and dispatch activities.
- Investigate and resolve material discrepancies, non-conformances, and damaged or obsolete inventory, recommending appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare and support technical scopes of work (SOWs), contract evaluations, and warehouse-related service contracts.
- Establish and maintain standards for material handling, storage, preservation, corrosion control, and inventory management in line with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations and industry best practices.
- Conduct technical audits and reviews of warehouse processes, records, and controls, ensuring timely closure of corrective actions.
- Ensure the integrity, traceability, and availability of material documentation, including MTCs, CoCs, inspection records, OEM manuals, and MSDS/SDS.
- Monitor the storage, preservation, and availability of critical spares, emergency response equipment, hazardous materials, and dangerous goods in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Operational Integrity (HSEOI) procedures in all warehouse operations, promoting safe work practices and ensuring the correct use of equipment and machinery.
- Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks, and technical training sessions to enhance workforce competency in warehouse technologies, equipment handling, and safe operational practices.
