Essential skills and knowledge
- Has significant experience, technical knowledge and valid license to operate a fire-fighting vehicle (e.g., single cab or double cab fire tender)
- Capable of perform minor vehicle maintenance
- Has background experience as a fire fighter in an oil/gas, petrochemical, power and water utilities or equivalent industry for a minimum of 5 years
- License to operate/drive a heavy vehicle (specifically fire fighting vehicle) with previous valid license from authorized issuing party (e.g., Traffic Directorate)
- (MUST) NFPA 1001 Certification as Firefighter 1 and 2
- Attended relevant training on handling hazardous events or incidents such as HAZMAT Awareness and HAZMAT Operations
- Physically and Medically Fit
- Age limit: 45 years old
- Must have excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Has significant knowledge of Heavy vehicle and Pump Operations
- Has ability to carry out vehicle inspection
- Has knowledge on fire safety inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, indoor/outdoor hydrants and fire hoses
- Has relevant knowledge in industrial firefighting system such water-based system, foam deluge system
- Advance First Aider and knowledge of AED
