A Technician (Maintenance) is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of technical systems and equipment, particularly in industrial environments such as oil and gas, petrochemical, and telecom sectors.
This role ensures that all systems operate efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous operations.
About this role
Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on PAGA (Public Address and General Alarm) systems and related field hardware.
Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
Conduct inspections, testing, and calibration of equipment to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports and equipment logs.
Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to plan and execute maintenance schedules.
Adhere to safety protocols and participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems
Is this you?
Diploma or Trade Certification in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication, Computer, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of PAGA systems and field hardware.
Prior experience with QatarEnergy contracts or equivalent oil and gas projects (onshore and offshore) is highly preferred
Familiarity with safety procedures, permit systems, and maintenance documentation.

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic faults.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
