About this role

We're recruiting for a Senior Surveyor to join a well-established civil contractor working across the Gold Coast. This permanent role offers a mix of office-based and site work, providing leadership across infrastructure and land development projects. Ideal for experienced professionals seeking stability, responsibility, and the chance to work closer to home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to project sites across the Gold Coast for survey delivery
  • Perform office-based planning, reporting, and coordination tasks
  • Lead and mentor surveyors and assistants on active projects
  • Conduct engineering surveys for design, construction, and monitoring
  • Manage machine control systems and ensure accurate data integration
  • Use 12D software and other surveying platforms to support project outcomes
  • Ensure all work meets survey specifications and quality standards

Is this you?

  • Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Spatial Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in engineering surveying within civil construction projects
  • Strong working knowledge of 12D software and other surveying platforms
  • Ability to lead and mentor survey teams across multiple sites
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working both on-site and in an office environment
  • Applicants must hold full working rights in Australia
