Introduction

Brunel is recruiting an experienced Senior E&I Engineer to join our Operator clients team on a 6-month contract, supporting ongoing operations across their offshore assets.

This is a key role within a compact, high-performing engineering team, providing E&I technical expertise across offshore assets/operations. You'll serve as the focal point for electrical and instrumentation engineering support, ensuring safe, reliable and compliant operations throughout the assignment.

About this role

  • Provide day-to-day electrical and instrumentation engineering support to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Deliver technical assurance and troubleshooting across offshore systems.
  • Assist with project scopes, modification packs, and Management-of-Change (MOC) documentation.
  • Support shutdown and maintenance activities as required, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager, discipline leads and offshore teams to resolve E&I issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to reliability improvement initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Is this you?

  • Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Considerable E&I engineering experience within Oil & Gas operations
  • Proven capability to act as the E&I focal point in a smaller, multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong understanding of Australian regulations and hazardous-area design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a hands-on, proactive approach.
