About this role

  • Develop, implement, and optimize chemical treatment strategies, ensuring full compliance with operational protocols, regulatory guidelines, and contractual obligations.
  • Deliver subject matter expertise across key areas such as corrosion control, treatment of produced fluids, well stimulation, phase separation processes, and flow assurance for chemical applications.

  • Coordinate and support vendor relationships, including chemical supply chains and laboratory services, to ensure timely delivery and service quality.
  • Maintain and manage production chemistry databases, and produce analytical and technical reports to guide performance reviews, decision-making, and continuous process improvement.

Is this you?

  • Hands-on experience in production chemistry within upstream oil & gas, ideally with exposure to onshore or unconventional operations.
  • Proven understanding of chemical treatment design, corrosion prevention, and produced fluids management.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical data, troubleshoot anomalies, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with chemical risk assessments, SDS compliance, and safety protocols.
  • Experience working with laboratory services and chemical supply contracts, including vendor coordination and performance monitoring.
