Introduction

On behalf of our client - Woodside Energy, a Global Energy Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Contracts Advisor - New Energy and Carbon Services. This is a 12 month contract located in the Corporate CBD Perth office.

About this role

You will be a member of the Contracts Team and will lead and drive commercial outcomes across multiple divisions for BD & Origination New Energy and Carbon Services.

  • Lead Commercial and Contracting outcomes in the designated portfolio area
  • Ensure contracts, purchase orders and call-offs comply with the Contracting and Procurement Procedure
  • Accountability of the contracting lifecycle from Category Strategies, Contracting Plans, ITT/RFQs, Authority for Contract Execution, Negotiation Plans, Tender Evaluation Plans, Contract Variations and other associated approval documents
  • Identify and pursue commercial and cost saving opportunities within the portfolio
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure evaluation criteria, terms & conditions and departures are accurate
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that commercial and contracting services are given sufficient front-end consideration in the development of Category Strategies, Contracting Strategies and project schedules
  • Ensure delivery of business needs to schedule, cost and quality

Is this you?

  • Qualification in Business, Commerce, Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering OR similar
  • Previous experience in a Category Specialist or Contracts Advisory role
  • Experience with the full tender life cycle, specifically within the strategy and pre-award stage
  • Confident written, verbal and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate people and stakeholder management skills
  • Effective decision making in the presence of uncertainty and risk and considering and balancing business dimensions, eg technical, cost, schedule
  • An individual who is passionate, resilient and flexible with working on demanding projects.
  • Strong negotiation skills
