Introduction

We are seeking a motivated, self-starting Global Technical Trainer to support the development and delivery of training for our Digital Mine technology suite, including Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) and multiple other OT related mining products.

About this role

  • Support the Global Technical Training Lead to execute the training strategy across Digital Mine products (CAS / DotNetix / DGS).
  • Conduct technical training needs assessments (TNA) by collecting and analysing information on role requirements and employee skillsets.
  • Develop and maintain training programs aligned to operational needs and safety expectations (Operator, installation, maintenance, ITP pathways).
  • Convert and build training into scalable digital formats:
    • Create eLearning modules using the Articulate 360 suite (e.g., Rise/Storyline as applicable).
    • Package and publish SCORM content for LMS delivery and reporting.
    • Maintain version control, learning outcomes, and assessment integrity across updates.
  • Prepare training schedules, session plans, and agendas for instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced delivery.
  • Determine course content and objectives, ensuring training reflects current product capability and field realities.
  • Deliver training to mixed audiences (Operators, maintainers, installers, technicians, ITP contractors, internal teams) in a clear, calm, and structured manner.
  • Evaluate learner competency and identify areas needing improvement; provide coaching, reinforcement, and follow-up where required.
  • Conduct and/or support practical assessments and verification activities onsite.
  • Mentor and train onsite installation teams, including new starters and developing trainers.

Is this you?

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
  • Mining industry site experience (Operational and/or maintenance environments).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver both theoretical and hands-on technical training safely and effectively.
  • Strong written skills for producing clear training materials, job aids, assessments, and records.
  • Relevant trade qualification or higher.
  • Certificate III in Electronics and Communications, Automotive Electrical Technology, Electrotechnology Electrician, or Engineering - Industrial Electrician.
  • Heavy vehicle mining auto-electrical experience.
