Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and detail-oriented Asset Engineer to join a high-performing, cross-functional team at the centre of one of Queensland's largest onshore gas operations. Supporting the Asset Planning team, this role plays a pivotal function in securing Access to Work for the delivery of Greenfield, Brownfield and Decommissioning scopes, integrating Non-Technical Risk considerations and enabling project success across the full asset lifecycle.

About this role

  • Coordinate the timely release of ATWs by managing inputs from Environment, Tenure, Cultural Heritage, Land Access, and other NTR functions
  • Support progression of sanctioned and pre-sanctioned scopes through Upstream Delivery Process (UDP)
  • Prioritise and influence a broad stakeholder group to meet project schedules and minimise risk
  • Identify and mitigate constraints across technical, non-technical and constructability considerations
  • Support the development of Project Change Requests (PCRs) and post-ATW execution requirements
  • Facilitate interface alignment across Survey, Engineering, Land Access, Geomatics, and Operations

Is this you?

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Science or related field
  • Proven experience working within large-scale upstream Oil & Gas or infrastructure projects
  • Sound understanding of regulatory compliance, permitting and stakeholder engagement processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and influence without direct authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex issues clearly
