Introduction

We're looking for a proactive and well-organised Warehouse Storeperson to join our Procurement team, playing a key role in the smooth operation of our warehouse. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently and accurately.

This dynamic business with global reach and a local focus, provides customer focused solutions ranging from the supply of an engine, through to turn-key installation of multi-engine power plants and works with customers across diverse sectors including mining, water, agriculture, oil and gas, manufacturing and cogeneration for commercial buildings.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Safely unload shipping containers and stage goods for storage or dispatch.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move, stack, and store goods.
  • Receive, unload, and check deliveries of parts and equipment
  • Rotate and manage stock to minimise damage, loss, or expiry.
  • Maintain warehouse standards of cleanliness, safety, and organisation in line with WHS requirements.

Is this you?

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre
  • Familiarity with freight booking systems, documentation control, and warehouse management systems (WMS) is desirable
  • A current Forklift Licence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive approach with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work independently
  • Applicants must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
