Introduction

We are representing a Tier One mining business seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join their site-based team in the Pilbara. This is a pivotal role, providing technical leadership and engineering oversight on a high-profile project, while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance standards are upheld.

About this role

  • Oversee design, review, and validation of electrical and instrumentation plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support across construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Identify and resolve risks while liaising with project teams and contractors.
  • Lead safety initiatives and mentor junior engineers on site.

Is this you?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards chartership (preferred).
  • 7-10 years' experience in E&I engineering, ideally within mining, resources, or heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated site-based project delivery experience across design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, WHS regulations, and electrical compliance requirements.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and managing technical risks.
  • Proficiency with electrical design software, drawings, and modelling tools.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
  • You must have curretn right to work in Australia to be considered for this role
