Introduction

We are partnering with a leading Integrated Energy business to recruit a Senior Commercial Manager based in their Perth CBD office. This is a pivotal, customer-facing leadership role focused on executing strategy, managing high-value partnerships and enabling long-term commercial growth across Western Australia.

About this role

Reporting to the General Manager Gas Commercial, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering commercial initiatives that support the Organisation's broader national growth objectives.

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with corporate objectives and WA market dynamics
  • Drive commercial arrangements across WA in line with national strategy
  • Identify, assess and pursue new growth opportunities across the portfolio
  • Lead complex negotiations, balancing value creation with risk mitigation
  • Serve as a senior relationship manager for WA's strategic customers to ensure retention and satisfaction
  • Shape pricing and service offerings that meet evolving customer needs
  • Provide strategic commercial input into business development projects and acquisition opportunities
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations and Strategy teams to ensure smooth execution of commercial deals

Is this you?

  • Proven experience in a commercial leadership role within the Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure or Resources sectors
  • Strong background in commercial development, complex contract negotiation and stakeholder management
  • Commercially astute with a deep understanding of risk, value and market drivers
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate commercial insight into actionable outcomes
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Adaptable, collaborative and confident navigating a cross-functional and fast-moving environment
