About this role

As a Senior Commercial Advisor, you will play a central role in the commercial operations team, connecting strategy, operations, and customer delivery to drive value and reliability. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the performance of long-term power transmission and generation agreements
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, regulators, and internal stakeholders
  • Providing commercial advice on contract terms, amendments, and renewals
  • Ensuring accuracy in invoicing, governance, and financial compliance across key agreements
  • Driving continuous improvement in commercial processes, systems, and reporting

Is this you?

We are seeking a commercially astute professional with a strong background in the energy or infrastructure sectors. You will bring a proactive mindset and a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in commercial advisory, contract management, or business development within energy, infrastructure, or utilities
  • Strong ability to interpret and manage complex commercial and legal agreements
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Law, or Engineering
  • A solutions-focused approach with sound commercial judgement and analytical ability
  • Experience in power transmission, generation, or energy commercial operations (highly regarded)
