An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Planner & Scheduler to join a leading Western Australian energy generator supporting critical outage and maintenance programs at Pinjar Power Station.
This organisation plays a vital role in delivering reliable, sustainable energy across Western Australia, operating a diverse portfolio of power generation assets. This role will be instrumental in ensuring planned outages are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Reporting to the Outage or Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and optimising detailed outage schedules to support maintenance and capital works programs across gas-fired generation assets.
You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, operations and contractor teams to ensure effective planning, sequencing and resource coordination.
Develop and maintain integrated outage schedules using Primavera P6 (or equivalent)
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and contractors to define scope, sequencing and durations
Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting on schedule performance
Identify critical path activities, risks and mitigation strategies
Support cost and resource forecasting aligned with outage milestones
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational requirements
Contribute to post-outage reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Proven experience as a Project Planner/Scheduler within power generation, utilities, oil & gas, or heavy industry
Strong outage planning experience (highly regarded)
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software
Solid understanding of shutdown/outage coordination and brownfield environments
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
