Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leading Energy Company, Brunel is presently recruiting a Planner / Scheduler to coordinate Training and Site Exposure opportunities for Perth based personnel supporting two major LNG Projects. Cnotract requirement up to approx Dec 2027, based in the Perth CBD, flexible working options.

About this role

The role will ensure Training and Competency Development activities are aligned with operational priorities, 90-day plans and CMS requirements, while minimising impact to critical operations.

  • Plan and schedule site exposure and training activities aligned with the 2 major Projects 90-day plans
  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Laboratory Leaders to align individuals to the right teams, shifts and mentors
  • Use CMS training profiles and planning tools (eg Prometheus) to build and maintain accurate training schedules
  • Coordinate with participants to confirm availability and attendance
  • Liaise with site-based Planners, Leaders and internal and external Training Providers to confirm timing and locations of activities
  • Monitor training progress and compliance using reporting tools (eg Power BI) and provide regular updates to BCP leadership
  • Identify training and competency risks and work with stakeholders to implement mitigations.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate travel requirements

Is this you?

  • You will be an organised and proactive Planner who thrives in a multi-stakeholder operational environment
  • You bring strong systems capability, attention to detail, and the confidence to engage with operational leaders
  • Extensive experience in Planning, Scheduling OR coordination within an operational (maintenance or production) environment
  • Exposure to the resource industry - Oil & Gas, LNG, Mining or similar
  • Experience coordinating operational activities
  • Capability using planning and scheduling tools - Primavera P6 or equivalent
  • Experience to training compliance systems or reporting (desirable)
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
