Introduction

As an Operational Readiness Specialist, you'll work with project delivery teams, asset owners and central support functions to ensure all readiness requirements are met, SAP data is maintained, gaps are closed, and operations are safe, reliable and cost-effective. Strong stakeholder engagement, maintenance planning and SAP skills required.

About this role

  • Collaborate with Project Delivery Teams to acquire and validate all operational readiness documentation and readiness deliverables.
  • Liaise with Asset Owners to manage readiness activities, close gaps, and report on progress through to handover.
  • Engage with Maintenance Processes & Systems, NPI & Water Management, Engineering, and Reliability to uphold corporate standards.
  • Conduct spares criticality assessments and support stock holding strategies.
  • Create/update SAP function locations, equipment masters, BOMs, maintenance plans, tasklists and maintenance items.
  • Lead and facilitate readiness meetings; drive effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage schedules, budgets and provide regular progress reporting.

Is this you?

  • Trade qualification (preferred)
  • Experience in maintenance planning
  • SAP Master Data (change/create) expertise
  • Previous mining industry experience
  • Knowledge of maintenance processes and operational readiness fundamentals
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and present effectively
  • Logical problem solver with reporting and budget management experience
  • Advanced MS Office skills
