Introduction

Are you a detail-oriented test engineer with a passion for embedded systems and hardware-level validation? In this role, you'll be a key player in ensuring the quality and performance of firmware interacting with complex hardware systems.

About this role

You'll work closely with firmware developers, hardware engineers, and system architects to build robust testing strategies and drive product excellence.

  • Develop and execute test plans for firmware validation and hardware integration

  • Conduct hardware-level testing using oscilloscopes, analyzers, and diagnostic tools

  • Design and maintain automated test frameworks for embedded environments

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex firmware/hardware interaction issues

  • Collaborate within a Scrum team to align testing with development goals

  • Deliver clear, actionable test reports and contribute to continuous improvement

Is this you?

  • Strong experience in embedded systems and firmware-level testing

  • 5+ years of firmware/software testing or development
  • Proficiency in C/C++, scripting (Python, Bash), and Linux environments

  • Hands-on experience with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers)

  • Familiarity with networking protocols and Agile methodologies

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

  • Strong communicator with a proactive mindset
