Introduction

On behalf of our client, a very successful National Business, Brunel is sourcing a Finance Manager located at their south of the river premises. This role is pivotal in driving financial performance, governance and strategy as the company targets $100M turnover by 2030.

About this role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a small team, oversee all aspects of Finance and play a key role in supporting the Company's scale-up and acquisition plans. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of Finance in a growth business with clear exposure to Senior Leadership.

  • Lead end-to-end financial operations, including cash flow, reporting, forecasting, BAS, ATO compliance and FBT
  • Implement robust financial controls, principles, and process improvements to support business growth
  • Provide strategic financial insights and reporting to senior management and the Owner
  • Manage supplier and debtor processes including rebate/kickback revenue streams
  • Mentor and lead a small team, delegating transactional tasks and focusing on higher-level strategy
  • Support acquisitions, integration and change management as the business expands

Is this you?

  • Bachelor qualification in Finance, Accounting, Commerce accompaned with CPA or CA is essential
  • Strong Finance Management experience specifically in cash flow forecasting
  • Proven ability to operate in growth, scale-up or acquisitive environments
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, Sybiz software experiene is desirable
  • Solutions-focused, adaptable and able to thrive in change
  • Confident in engaging with Senior Leadership
  • Aspiring Finance Leader with future career growth opportunity
