Introduction
Our client is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their dynamic team. This permanent role offers you the chance to work with a company that contributes to transformative projects across Queensland, driving excellence in commercial construction. You'll play a pivotal role in the tendering process, working closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams to ensure success from initial pricing through to contract negotiation and submission.
About this role
- Tender Sourcing & Assessment: Identify opportunities that align with client goals, timelines, and project scope.
- Tender Preparation & Submission: Create accurate and competitive bids using CostX, adhering to compliance standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure comprehensive tender coverage.
- Client & Supplier Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships to drive project success.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure tenders meet all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Is this you?
- Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial building estimation.
- Proficiency in CostX estimating software or willingness to move to CostX.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and project costing processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities with excellent attention to detail.
