Introduction

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading mining business on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a solid background in fixed or mobile plant maintenance within the mining sector. You'll be responsible for supervising electrical maintenance and project works, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution on site.

About this role

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical teams on site to deliver planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with site procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Oversee electrical works during a planned Christmas shutdown.
  • Liaise with planners, engineers, and operations teams to prioritise and schedule work.
  • Conduct inspections, verify quality of work, and sign off electrical tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to trades personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure documentation meets compliance standards.

Is this you?

  • Current WA Electrical Licence
  • S26 or Section 44 Authorisation (mandatory)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the mining or heavy industry sector
  • Strong understanding of electrical maintenance practices, safety, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced FIFO environment
  • Candidates must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role
