About this role

Our client is a recognised leader in the design, construction and operation of power generation facilities across Australia. Based in their Kewdale head office, we're seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to join their growing engineering team and contribute to a range of exciting projects in the power generation and renewable energy sectors.

As an Electrical Draftsperson, you will work closely with the electrical engineers and designers to produce high-quality documentation that supports the design and delivery of our power generation systems.

  • Prepare and modify electrical drawings including SLDs, schematics, and control diagrams.

  • Develop and maintain AutoCAD drawings to support project design and construction.

  • Collaborate with project engineers and other drafting team members to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency.

  • Assist in maintaining drawing registers and revision control.

  • Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and project specifications.

Is this you?

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsperson (preferably within the power generation, industrial or utilities sector).

  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and understanding of electrical schematics, SLDs and control systems.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
