About this role

  • Management and negotiation of contractual claims, disputes, and proactive resolution of project specific contractual issues
  • Liaise with the in-house or external legal teams for advice concerning contractual matters and may participate in dispute resolution or litigation.
  • Maintain good working relationships with a broad range of subcontractors and a maintain an awareness of market conditions and movements.
  • Contribute to improving budgeted project margins through thorough preparation, planning, and engaging with project team members to achieve cost and / or time savings.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of CA's, promoting a high-performance team culture.
  • Act responsibly in line with business HSEQ requirements to develop personal understanding and capabilities in this area

Is this you?

  • 5+ years' experience as a Senior Contract Administrator or Contracts Manager
  • Proven experience in large commercial projects upwards of $60 million
  • Local industry knowledge and experience are essential
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts, and commercial risk management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying or a related discipline.
