Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm Project Overview

Beatrice Offshore Wind Farm is close to the Beatrice Oil Field in the Moray Firth, part of the North Sea. It is 13 km off the northeast coast of Scotland in 45 meters water-depth, consisting of 84 turbines with a capacity of 588MW of electricity — enough to supply 450,000 homes.

 

 

Work Scope

 

The scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of the turbine foundations and array cables, and the transport and installation of transmission modules. Brunel was awarded the contract to provide a team of construction supervisors, HSE, QA/QC and discipline (vendor) inspectors to supervise the various construction yards and vendors / equipment providers of the project.
