Do you want to build advanced vision and measurement systems that directly contribute to the quality of high-tech products? In this role, you'll work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop cutting-edge vision and measurement applications used in testing, verification, and production facilities. What are you going to do
What you will do:
- Develop high-end vision and quality measurement systems used in testing and manufacturing environments.
- Specify required hardware such as cameras, lenses, lighting, and filters in close collaboration with mechanical and electrical design teams.
- Develop measurement system software and algorithms for data and image processing, including proof-of-concepts to validate technical solutions.
- Apply a structured engineering approach (V-model), including planning, quality assurance, documentation, and communication.
- Maintain and further develop vision and measurement competencies, and actively contribute to the supplier and partner network.
- Support projects with make-or-buy decisions.
Essential skills and knowledge
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
- At least 5 years of experience with vision technology (hardware and software).
- Experience with Halcon, LabVIEW, C#, and Python-based measurement software.
- At least 5 years of experience with physical/electrical measurement techniques.
- Experience with AI tools applied in vision and image processing.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Fluency in English.
