This professional will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of cargo while adhering to the company's safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:

Operate trucks and heavy vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company procedures;

Transport cargo securely, ensuring integrity and punctuality of deliveries;

Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report maintenance needs or malfunctions;

Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and cargo as required;

Support loading and unloading activities when necessary;

Follow all road safety and occupational health regulations;

Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize routes and delivery schedules.
Essential skills and knowledge
Requirements:

Proven experience as a truck driver in industrial, logistics, or energy operations;

Valid commercial driver's license meeting local requirements;

Knowledge of vehicle inspection and preventive maintenance for heavy trucks;

Strong commitment to safety and responsible cargo handling;
-
Availability to work on a local basis in Guyana.
