Topside - Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Topside Mechanical Engineer for Gas project in offshore. As a key member of the engineering team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, specification, procurement, and installation of mechanical and piping equipment for the topside facilities.
The Topside Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design and specification of static mechanical and piping equipment, interfacing with vendors, reviewing drawings, managing procurement and installation activities, and providing support for topside package engineering. This role requires a deep understanding of offshore mechanical systems and compliance with industry standards such as API, ASME, ISO, and DNV. The engineer will act on behalf of the owner/operator in all aspects of review, coordination, and design oversight.
List of Requirements- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, specifically in upstream, deepwater, or offshore projects
- Strong familiarity with API, ASME, ISO, and DNV standards- Excellent technical communication skills
- Proven ability to coordinate with vendors and external stakeholders- Expertise in the design and specification of mechanical and piping equipment
- Experience in overseeing procurement and installation activities- Prior involvement in topside package engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
