What are you going to do
As the Technical Services Manager, you'll play a critical leadership role in managing the delivery of high-voltage testing, commissioning, and asset management services across major energy infrastructure projects. The role offers diversity, challenge, and the chance to work across the full asset lifecycle - from commissioning to decommissioning.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure operational excellence, and be a key driver of quality, safety, and innovation across national projects.
- Lead and coordinate testing and commissioning activities for HV assets and SCADA/EMS/DMS/TMS systems
- Oversee a national team of engineers and technicians across multiple projects and locations
- Manage stakeholder relationships, project deliverables, and quality assurance
- Champion asset management strategies that maximise operational life and performance
- Drive improvements through technology adoption and streamlined processes
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory standards
Essential skills and knowledge
- Extensive technical experience in high voltage commissioning, testing, and asset management
- Strong leadership and team management background in an engineering or field services setting
- Experience working with SCADA, EMS, DMS, or TMS systems
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel nationally as required
- Electrical engineering qualifications or equivalent industry experience
