Introduction

In this role as Team Manager, you'll lead a team of experts working on one of the largest mission system programs in the high-tech sector. You'll help your team grow in both expertise and performance, acting as the key link between strategy and execution. Your work directly contributes to the operational readiness of critical defense systems.

You'll be part of the management team of the F126 segment and the System Engineering discipline. Alongside other team managers, you will contribute to strategic planning, process improvements, and the overall performance of the department. Our management culture?   • Lead a team of 25-35 integration and test engineers within the F126 segment, responsible for software integration, verification, validation, and qualification.
  • Develop team competencies and increase domain knowledge to achieve better operational performance.
  • Coach, inspire, and support your team members, maximizing their talents and encouraging their personal development.
  • Take ownership of achieving project goals related to customer value, quality, time, and budget.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Candidate ProfileYou're an engaged and visionary leader. You combine sharp analytical thinking with decisiveness and the ability to bring others along with you. You listen actively, communicate convincingly, and bridge the gap between strategy and operations. As a coaching leader, you bring out the best in your team.
You also have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a high-tech environment.
  • Proven experience in team development and managing technically oriented teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a strong plus due to the end customer).
  • Experience navigating complex stakeholder environments and managing competing interests.
