Introduction

Operations and Business Support : Coordination with Service Provider Departments, Finance and other stakeholders for information required by FF for the timely and accurate computation of tariffs required for the Directorate’s business.

Tariffs Initiation and Follow-up: Initiate the requests for new tariffs and/or revision of existing ones and follow up with FF and ensure that the required information is obtained promptly for the timely execution of the Directorate’s business agreements.

Tariffs Benchmarking Studies: Provide support to FF for tariffs benchmarking studies; provide business and operational inputs as required.

What are you going to do 

  • Tariffs Administration: Administer the tariffs as approved by FF and provide the required information whilst ensuring accuracy to ensure the timely execution of the Directorate’s business agreements;
  • Maintain Tariff Register and coordinate with Industrial Cities Stake holders to harmonize the Tariffs;
  • Non-standard Agreements Review: Review and conduct due diligence on all draft nonstandard agreements to ensure compliance with COMPANY commercial policies and that the business interest of COMPANY and the Directorate is safeguarded;
  • Developer Projects: Provide business and operational information required for Request for Proposals (RFPs) for developer projects, analyse the proposal received and make recommendations on the proposals received;
  • Participate/Lead: Participate/Lead in in-house feasibility studies for projects/facilities identified for Industrial Cities.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Finance from a recognized University;
  • 8-10 years post qualification experience in a commercial role in project evaluation, and/or business development;
  • Good understanding and appreciation of commercial, financial and legal aspects of business with experience in negotiating agreements;
  • Good inter-personal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical skills with a commercial/business orientation.
